How we use photographs
Photos remain the work of their original creators. We resize, crop and convert downloaded images to WebP for site delivery. Social cards may add an article headline and the site name. Source and license links below identify images requiring attribution. Resized and cropped adaptations of ShareAlike photographs, including social cards incorporating them, are available under the indicated ShareAlike license; separate article text retains its own copyright.
Other photographs are supplied under the Pexels license, which does not require attribution, or are identified as public domain or CC0 in our source records. Pexels photography is illustrative and does not imply endorsement by a pictured person. Rights in identifiable people, trademarks or property may be separate from copyright.

Home-page photos and brand emblems
The home-page and section photographs are Pexels photos, cropped and resized for this site; the dark-mode version of a single photo is a darkened copy. They illustrate a topic and are not evidence for article claims. The brand emblems are digital illustrations created for Crib & Cradle with AI assistance, then selected and prepared for this site.
